The Development Office of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Immaculate Conception (also known as the Heading Avenue Franciscans) is responsible for promoting public awareness of the sisters' mission and raising funds to support their various ministries which include: education, care of the elderly, adult literacy, counseling, social work, spirituality, marriage tribunal, and the diaconate program. The Development Office also helps provide funding for the Sisters' Retirement Fund and for care of the infirm sisters. In addition, support is provided for the maintenance of the buildings and property owned by the sisters.
The Development Office is responsible for creating the Franciscan Prints newsletter that is published semi-annually. Our major fund-raisers include the Rolan Johnson Christmas Ornaments, the Annual Appeal, and the "Count Your Blessings" Raffle.
The sisters rely greatly on the kindness and generosity of donors to help continue their mission. All contributions are tax deductible.
